Simpsons ride major upgrade from Back to The Future

Set to open May 17, the new Simpsons ride uses the old Back to the Future show building and the same motion simulator concept. But almost everything else is new. The rides open next month.

I was hoping this would be a significant upgrade over Back to the Future and I guess it is. Not sure it will do The Simposns franchise justice, but what could aside from an entire theme park?

^^^As far as I can tell, May 17 is "hard-opening". But I'll probably have a report on the ride Monday if it's soft-opened this weekend.

^P.S. No soft-open until next month, according to Apu at the Kwik-E-Mart...
