Strange this Tinkerbell attraction hasn't been mentioned yet but will be open in October.Though my mind goes immediately to a highly immersive dark-ride, folks on laughing place are claiming it's a Fairies meet and greet. "Attraction" apparently has a loose meaning to Ed Grier. *** This post was edited by ThemeDesigner 4/24/2008 10:31:40 AM ***

Yah, it must be a replacement for Ariel's Grotto or something. Anything else would be under construction as we speak.

Ha! I should SO be an Imagineer. Here's what I predicted, over in the It's a Small World rehab thread: Here's my odds on prediction for Disneyland, 2013. After a series of popular "Tinkerbell" movies and books makes hundreds of millions for the House of Mouse, the Peter Pan ride is modified to showcase that little money-maker Tink and all her fairy friends. I was only a few years late in my guess.

How many years has the third park talk gone on? With such a massive expansion/improvements being done to California Adventure, I don't see anything developing for a third park anytime soon.

Nope. Not soon. Depends on how successful the DCA rehab is. Sounds like they are going to pour some money into their hotels...so of course they will want to fill those rooms. I certainly don't think the idea of a 3rd park is dead. We just have to wait 10 years or so.

The wait for a third park will depend on whether California's Adventure is ever a success is my guess.

"Attraction" apparently has a loose meaning to Ed Grier. How so? Attraction does not equal ride. Nor does it signify the size, scope, and significance of the project.

Heck, the Walt/Mickey statue is an attraction. You practically have to wait in line to get a photo of it.

|
Well.. I'm not attracted to it, so it's not an attraction. So there. /wink
