Quite a name. Reminds me of what Geauga Lake's Stringray slides should have been named.

Those half pipes are a blast...especially for larger people.

This seems like an odd choice. I know parks usually choose either this type of slide or a Proslide Tornado. I've never seen a waterpark with both. To me they seem a little too similar to each other.

Yeah, I don't get it either. It's essentially the same experience as a Tornado sans the dark slide from the platform to the funnel.

Are these cheaper than Tornados?

It sounds like it. Just not sure why you'd want both aside from boosting overall capacity.

"We’re always looking for something a bit different than the other water attractions around the Metroplex,”

If this photo is replicated of the product, I'm pretty certain this 'different' attraction is about 15 minutes from my house.

...1/2 hr. from the park. I have no hope for this particular park in this company. Both locations honestly are a sad place.*** This post was edited by FreezeCoaster 12/13/2007 12:32:30 AM ***

Maybe it kind of ties in with the Tony Hawk ride? I mean, sure, it's the same thing as the Proslide Tornado, but this one looks like a half-pipe, so you can promote it as a year of "skateboard X-TREEEME r0x0r w00t!11!" or however.

Just a thought.
