This is exactly why Disney created their own government in Florida and annexed themselves from Orange and Osceola counties. It's too bad they can't do the same thing in California.

Government can pretty much do whatever they want whenever they want (see eminent domain). Private companies…? Just how free and private are they? Yet, in most circumstances the masses will line up to denounce mean old private companies while rarely applying the same standards of condemnation for governmental agencies. I hope Disney prevails in this battle for no other reason than to promote a small semblance of private property owner rights.

Not uncommon out here, they are usually a front for and totally supported by the developers.

Right...if you own a home, why would you want to increase supply?  In any case, I heard a rumor that the deveoper and Disney might have reached a compromise.
