children rides today are not really for children look at road runner at six flags over georgia it hits over 30mph .all parks should copy wild adventures roller coasters because they truly have coasters for children that need motors placed throughout the ride because with out them the ride would stop now thats the type of coasters that should be built for children not 30mph coaster, they also have some a little faster ,or if your child really want speed they have 3 roller coasters that go over 60mph.

I think that sentence has motors placed throughout it to keep it from stopping.

Depending on its size, a large or even compact twister type woodie can be more intense than almost all of the steel coasters out there.

Looping Star is kinda cute. It would be much better if it had real seats, better track, better layout, lap bars, smoother brakes. . .oh, well, nevermind.

Well said Gomez. I appreciate what Voyage is but you don't need sheer size to make a coaster fun or intense. Smaller designs can be very powerful, as I'm sure will be the case with Waldameer's Ravine Flyer II. Nice to see wood coasters getting some downright positive press, though!

mas- NO ONE should ever copy Cheetah. or the boomerang. Come to think of it there was nothing that spectacular at Wild Adventures. If you want your 3 year old to ride, yes, 30 mph is pushing it. But look at Zach's Zoomer at MIA, great junior coaster for those in-betweeners.

Cheetah is not that bad for a small woodie, as for boomerang, I prefer more speed. The park itself is a great place to take little ones to.

^ Cheetah WAS really "quite good"....for about 6 months...last time I was there (WA), re-rides were readily available, but no one took them up on it...
