Ummmmmm, is it just me, or does Steel Dragon seem like it would be INSANELY fun? Bring one to Ohio, please! Edit: apply spelling goodness*** This post was edited by Doug Rowe 7/26/2004 11:33:54 AM ***

Doug, your thought is exactly correct... it is.

Doug, forget bringing it to Ohio (although it would make a great addition or two to CP or PKI). Head over to Kennywood. Ride Exterminator. But yeah, the new generation of spinning mice looks great.

I must get out to Waldameer Park this week, that looks fantastic. I've haven't been on any new wild mouse coasters yet. My most recent is Wild Mouse that was at Conneaut Lake Park, sad really.

DS, no, what's sad is that the mouse at CLP isn't there anymore... Joe, this is IMO about 100x better than Exterminator.

I rode this saturday with my wife. It is a very good and different ride than any other that I have ridden before. I waited in line about 15 - 20 Minutes and that was with a running car being taken to the transfer track and another being put on the course.

I rode the coaster on July 3rd at about 9:00pm with a half hour wait but the next day it ways no more than 5 minutes. It's a great spinner, it doesn't jerk you like the Exterminator.

It's such a fun ride. It's so smooth and extremely quiet. The day I went there was virtually no one else in the park, so we rode it 4 times, each time being a walk on.

It doesnt spin you as much as I would have liked and the trims squeeze pretty hard 2/4 times sucking up your speed. But its a darn fun ride, espcially when starting backwards.

When I saw this news story I thought it was talking about Steel Dragon 2000 in Japan. Oh well, looks fun though.

Yeah, I can see how the subheading of: "Coverage of Waldameer Park's new spinning coaster now online." could be misleading.
